Colt control systems offer all year round protection at a very economic cost

Colt control systems have a built in sun path program as standard, meaning that they know the relationship between building orientation and solar azimuth at every point in the year. Lux, wind, snow and water sensors give the end user full confidence that the system:

• Adjusts the blades incrementally as the sun rises and sets to give maximum solar shading
• Will open the blades to allow more light through into the building on overcast days
• The system will be protected from the elements,
  • Adjusting itself at high winds to reduce loads back to the building
  • Adjusting itself in low temperatures to prevent ice forming and freezing between the blades
  • Closing to a snow safe position to minimize risk of snow build up.
• Has automatic overrides for user control or window cleaning etc.
• Adjusts itself to a night position, to prevent internal light bleed to the outside.
• Could be fitted with a modem link for remote monitoring by Colt
